Not the one you try to convince yourself you are. Just… the raw, unfiltered you.
When I asked myself this question, it took me a while, not because I didn’t know myself, but because there were too many ‘me’s’ to pick from.
Aren’t we all different when nobody’s watching?
We laugh too loud, sing like crazy in the shower, dance like crazy. All those goofy, wonderful parts of us only come out when we’re alone.
But it’s not just the silly stuff. We all have those dark corners inside us, those secret thoughts we don’t tell anyone.
When we’re alone, maybe we’re a little selfish or think bad thoughts about people we don’t like.
So… who are you when nobody’s watching?
What do you do when there’s no pressure to act a certain way?
Are you still the same person, or do you become someone totally different?
And if you met this ‘real person’, would you like them?
Would they like you? Or would you be total strangers?
